Ted McBride
Assistant U.S. Attorney for South Dakota
Federal Building
9th & Main
Rapid City SD 57701

Dear Mr. McBride:

I have sent two letters to Ms. Schreier this year. She replied to one of them. I have not received an answer to the September 12, 1998, letter. Perhaps you can help me.

For your convenience, I have included copies of my letters to Ms. Schreier, and her reply to the one to which she replied.

My question is:
For what tax(es) does the IRS, or any agency of the federal government, allege I am liable? Please cite the code section(s).
(I am self-employed with a 100% domestic business, and am a natural-born citizen of the State of South Dakota.)

I look forward to your earliest possible reply.

Very truly yours,

R J Newland

I ran into Ted McBride at a local trade show (Rapid City SD). I asked him if he was going to answer my letter. He said he had forwarded it to the US Attorney for South Dakota. This is the same US Attorney who told me to ask accountants what the law was.

And so it goes.
Stay tuned. Next, I'll write some accountants and ask them. I'll publish the replies.
