Bob Newland runs for US Senate in South Dakota in 2004!

HEMPhasis
A magazine promoting hemp, liberty, and what works.

We'll be devoting our limited website-production time to this current dynamic project.

Why you should browse this site, especially if you're researching hemp or cannabis.
This site and the SoDakNORML site are among the best sites on the web for quickly getting a basic understanding of the hemp and cannabis political issues, as well the huge benefits we'd reap if the politicians pulled their heads out of the corporate moneypot for a while.

The Best Way to Browse this Site is to first scroll down this page and see if you want to go further. Bookmark this page.

Then go to the Sitemap. That will give you a look at the volume of material available on this site. You can go to links which look interesting and return to the sitemap page from that link.

Once you have looked at everything on the site that you want to look at, simply check back from time to time to see if there's anything new at Newstuff. Newstuff will always have most recent additions at the top. Newstuff updated 2 July 2003.

Four sites you might want to browse, particularly if you oppose the so-called "war on drugs"
Common Sense Justice: a South Dakota ballot measure which will allow accused people to argue the merits of the law itself.
South Dakota NORML: advocating compassion and sanity regarding medical cannabis and the rights of peaceful honest folks to catch a buzz.
South Dakota Industrial Hemp Council: advocating sanity and economic good sense concerning industrial hemp.
HEMPhasis Magazine: also advocating sanity and economic good sense concerning industrial hemp.

The limitation of tyrants is the endurance of those they oppress.

No one
--- neither a mugger nor a group of suits in some capitol building ---
NO ONE has the right to initiate force or commit fraud
in pursuit of personal or political goals.
.......................................................--basis of Libertarianism

This is the website of Bob Newland -- noted journalist, raconteur, iconoclast,
political philosopher and exposer of the lies used to propagate the so-called War on Drugs

Every law or regulation which any of us dislikes was proposed by a Republican or a Democrat, and was legislated into existence with the collusion of both Republicans and Democrats.

Everyone knows this, yet most folks continue to vote for and support the same politicians who persist in usurping our rights to decide for ourselves how to live our lives.

Government wears no clothes. We all see that it is naked. Yet most folks are plenty happy to continue to compliment it on its sartorial taste, and to pay its tailors extravagant commissions.

This web site is dedicated to those who think we ought to fire the tailors and return government to a more decent state of dress.
